A review of Neat Solutions Table Topper Disposable Place Mats
Going to a restaurant can be an adventure when you’re the mother of a toddler. One product I found that I always have with me is Neat Solutions Table Topper Disposable Stick-in-Place Placemats.
The Table Topper place mats help to alleviate one major concern of mine – germs. My boys still like to use their hands to feed themselves. When you’re in a restaurant where do you put the food? I’m not too comfortable in giving the boys china plates to eat from. There’s a pretty good chance they’d end up on the floor. The Table Topper place mat provides a clean and sanitary surface to put the food on for my boys to take.
The Table Topper place mats are plastic place mats that attach to the table of a restaurant with two small adhesive strips. It stays in place so you don’t worry about your child throwing it on the ground. When your child is finished eating, the Table Topper place mat is easily removed and won’t leave a mark on the table.
The place mats I buy feature some of the most loveable characters from Sesame Street – Big Bird, Cookie Monster, Oscar the Grouch, Zoe, and of course Elmo. They can also be used as an educational tool to distract your child while waiting for the food to come out of the kitchen. For example, one of the placemats teaches children about feelings.
I always keep the Table Topper disposable place mats in my diaper bag. I use them all the time. I’ve even used them once in a pinch during a diaper change when I had forgotten to refill my supply of disposable changing pads.
I recommend this product to anyone with children. It gives you a little piece of mind to know your child has a clean and safe place to eat from while away from home.
