A review of the Fisher Price Ocean Wonders™ Aquarium Cradle Swing
When our son was born, we got one of the low to the floor rocker swings. While it worked great for about six months, after that, our son got too big for the swing. We had to upgrade to the one I wish we had originally purchased, the Fisher-Price Ocean Wonders Aquarium Cradle Swing. Priced at $100, this is not one of the cheap swings, but it is so nice, you will get your monies worth out of it.
This Aquarium Cradle Swing swings two ways – back and forth like a traditional swing or side to side like a cradle. My son loved it. When it was nap time, I’d put him in the swing and within minutes he was asleep. Even if it was not nap time, the water globe light on the top of the swing and the mobile with four soft aquatic characters kept him grinning. The swing comes with six speeds and you can either play one of eight songs for the baby or choose soothing ocean sounds. You can sit the baby in it upright or tilt the chair for sleeping. There is a pouch behind the swing for storing things. It is easy to remove the padded swing cover for washing. The swing folds in half so it is easier to store and is great for babies anywhere from birth to 25 pounds.
The only downside I saw to the swing was it is important to remember to turn it off to conserve batteries, as it takes four D alkaline batteries. If you take the baby out without remembering to cut all the features off, the batteries quickly run down.
