Lip gloss as a makeup trick for busy Moms
If you’ve read some of my other posts you know that I’m a relatively new Mom. I decided to quit my job to stay at home full time to take care of my two toddler boys. One thing that I miss about getting up every day to go to work is getting dressed and made up. I spend the majority of my days home in sweat pants or jeans. When I need to take my children out to the doctor or for errands I want to look nice but don’t want to spend the same amount of time as I used to in getting ready. Lip gloss has become one of my tools and here’s why.
Lip gloss is one of those little secrets to enhance your lips. If used properly, a little lip gloss goes a long way. Accentuating the positive, lip gloss creates beautiful, moist, and youthful looking lips. It provides moisture to keep it chap free. You might be thinking about the lip gloss your young daughter uses, or the lip gloss you used in high school. This product has changed and can make a difference in your make up routine.
Here are a few tips you might want to use when using lip gloss:
- Lip gloss adds a nice glossy effect to your lips without a lot of color.
- Lip gloss can be applied quickly.
- Lip gloss is often cheaper than a regular lipstick.
- Lip gloss accentuates the lips, so if your lips are full or thick you might want to use it sparingly.
- As with lipstick, choose the correct lip gloss based on your coloring.
- If you apply lip gloss over your favorite lipstick it will enhance the color.
- Try a sheer gloss in silver or gold for evenings or special occasions.
- Lip gloss will help to prevent your lips from drying and developing cracks.
