Floor mat for under a high chair
My sister-in-law was so great in helping me get prepared for bringing home our two boys. She sent me care package after care package of new and slightly used items. In one of the care packages she had disposable floor mats for under the high chairs. At first I thought there’s no way I’ll need them. Then the boys started feeding themselves and I was so thankful to have them! Unfortunately I ran out of them and went looking all over trying to find them – I tried WalMart, Target and even the grocery stores. I was down to my last mat and trying to figure out where else to go when I tried the dollar store. They didn’t have the floor mats, but they had something else that is working quite well – flannel backed table cloths. They are waterproof on the top and have been working well. The first cloth has lasted through seven meals without any problems. It’s just an idea to try if you can’t find the floor mats or don’t want to spend $7 to $10 for a mat.
