Recipe: Easy and delicious chicken casserole with stuffing

I found this recipe a long time ago in a church cookbook. It’s really easy to make and kids just love it.

Ingredients:

1 ¼ pounds boneless, skinless chicken breast cut into pieces.
6 slices Swiss cheese
½ can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 cup water
2 tablespoons melted butter
Boxed stuffing mix

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place chicken in bottom of 9 X 13 baking dish, and cover with slices of Swiss cheese. Mix the soup with the water and spread on top of the cheese. Place a layer of stuffing mix on the top and drizzle with melted butter. Bake for 45 minutes or until the top of the casserole browns.
